The technology that is used in our products can be best described as a succession of steps calling on specific, advanced optimized image processing algorithms:
The modularity of these processes allows them to be either performed on a single platform (camera phone) or split and processed on multiple platforms.

We make sure our mathematical models are as real-world friendly as possible by making the right assumptions when implementing the algorithms. As a result, our technologies provide key advantages such as the possibility of anywhere and anytime usage, as well as tolerance to imaging devices imperfections. 
Design criteria
Based on inputs from end-user perception survey, as well as key industry experts feedbacks, we have implemented the following key application success criteria into the design specifications of all of Realeyes3Ds products:
User-side criteria:
Application ease of use, speed and responsiveness (live feel)
Universal support of hand-written and pre-printed information
Effectiveness of image acquisition, processing and transmission
Robustness under adverse lighting, imaging and focus conditions
Usefulness and value to end-user
Close integration with the device software and user interface
Quality (legibility, contrast, resolution) of transmitted image
Handset manufacturer side criteria:
Low incremental cost per device
Ease of integration into manufacturing process
Easy porting and optimization to new models at a low cost
High reliability, minimal support required
No adverse impact on device performance or usability for other functions
Respect of wireless industry de facto standards and best practices : image formats, telco-grade robustness of code, embedded resources optimization, etc
